The official Master's Degree in Economic Crime and Anticorruption Investigations (MECACI) has officially commenced, taught by the Centro Universitario de la Guardia Civil (CUGC), with the participation of specialized faculty from the Guardia Civil (including the Unidad Central Operativa - UCO), the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), and other prestigious national and international institutions and organizations linked to Security, Justice, and law enforcement.
Delivered entirely in English, this Master’s program offers advanced, specialized, and multidisciplinary training focused on the strategic and operational aspects of combating economic crime, money laundering, and corruption. It provides investigators, law enforcement officers, and security professionals with cutting-edge tools and methodologies to address current and emerging global financial crime challenges within a framework of international cooperation.
The program is an official 60 ECTS university degree, fully adapted to the quality standards of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), and is officially recognized across all 49 EHEA member states and European Union institutions.
